A brass ball-and-stem arm connects a powder-coated sphere to a frosted white glass globe, so the same form repeats three times down the fixture in three different materials — brass, colored steel, and opal glass. The circle was her most consistent motif — she used it across multiple bodies of work over the course of her career, filling grids of circles with different colors and gestures, later letting them float free of the grid entirely in her later paintings.
