Nesting Loa Pendant

The Nesting Loa Pendant hangs with the easy optimism of a mid-century living room that never once worried about being too much. Two round shades are nested one inside the other, which gives it a depth most globe pendants don’t have. The shape of the Nesting Loa was inspired by the atomic lamps shades of the 40s, 50s, and 60s.  

Our Nesting Loa Pendant is made of powder-coated steel and raw brass. The brass is unlacquered and unpolished, so it will darken over time. Each pendant comes with three downrods, so it can sit close under a standard ceiling or drop long in a stairwell or tall entry. Available in more than 30 powder-coated colors, from quiet neutrals to full-volume brights. As a pendant lighting, the Nesting Loa is pretty versatile. We love seeing it over a breakfast nook or small dining table. Or in groups of two or three over a kitchen island or peninsula. It also works in an entry that needs a focal point, and as a mid-century modern pendant light in a house that isn’t strictly mid-century. In a kid’s room or playroom, it’s fun without tipping into theme-room territory.  Each Nesting Loa is made by hand to order, and small variations in finish are part of the process.

• Custom powdercoating is available for an additional fee.  Optional powder-coating of the brass hardware is available for an additional fee.
