The Marcella Pendant is a petite ceramic ceiling light that blends timeless craftsmanship with modern versatility. Designed by Sazerac Stitches and handmade in the USA, each ribbed ceramic shade is produced exclusively for our studio, then hand-assembled with solid brass hardware and a powder-coated ceramic bead in our New Orleans workshop.

The Marcella collection is a celebration of an art deco-inspired ribbed form and the ceramic glazes and textures we admire, drawn from chinoiserie interiors and vintage ribbed glass lighting. The pendant carries that scalloped shade into a small, tucked profile — a single sculptural note that works across a wide range of interiors, from maximalist, art deco, and eclectic homes to more minimalist, traditional, or transitional spaces.

Its petite scale is the point: this is a pendant for the spots most fixtures are too bulky to flatter. Hang one over a kitchen island or a run of them across a counter, light a powder room or a small restaurant bathroom, mark a hallway, or drop a single pendant over a corner table for two. Anywhere you need a ceiling light with actual character, the Marcella fits.

Only the unglazed porcelain version allows light to pass through the shade body; all others cast a focused, downward glow—ideal for vanity lighting, hallway uplights, bedside sconces, or picture lighting.

The ball portion can be made in any of our 30 powdercoated colors. We have selected some shade/ball color combinations that can be found in the drop down menu.

Each shade is handmade, glazed, and fired in the US. Due to its handmade nature, there is a slight variation in glaze to each piece
The light comes with all mounting hardware. It can be mounted into a preexisting junction box.
Max wattage per bulb is 60W. Bulbs are not included.
