Vibrant Red Wavy Line Relief Globe Sconce - One of One

A one-of-one ceramic sconce or ceiling fixture in a rich lipstick red, finished with a tactile, wavy relief pattern that reads like ripples across the surface. In daylight, the texture catches highlights and shadow in a glossy, dimensional way. At night, it gets even better: the raised lines become more pronounced as the glow skims across the waves, turning the whole piece into a quiet little topography map on your wall or ceiling.

The surface was built using a water-etching method. Wax is applied as a resist, then water is used to selectively remove clay, leaving behind the carved, touchable pattern you can both see and feel. No two passes ever come out the same, which is exactly why this fixture exists as a true one-off.

A matte white globe softens the light into an even, warm glow, and the hardware stays visually hidden so the ceramic stays center stage. It installs as a hardwired fixture only and works beautifully as a statement bedside light, a bold bathroom or powder room accent (dry locations only), or a punch of color in a hallway or entry.

This fixture is hardwire only and is not compatible with our plug-in sconce option or addition.
